It’s down to the last couple of months for 2024 and I watch the locust tree leaves fall to the ground like snow. I’ve been working on my crochet dolls and I’m absolutely loving my new creative outlet. I’ve moved into my forever home and I’m happier than ever!

I’ve downsized a lot to make room for the troops to move in and some moving out. Being closer to my grandson has meant the world to me and it’s nice to be able to make some plushy toys and hats for him. I’ve also made some baby clothing and accessories, in a nutshell, I’ve been keeping myself busy.Â
My next projects will be home decor. I can finally settle into my workspace and access my sewing machine and other equipment and supplies. It’s been a couple of years of travel, but the hiatus was needed.
During the year long break, I decided to take up fishing. I managed to catch some large catfish but I long to angle up some big fish and possibly ice fish this winter. Yup, I went from some heeled shoes, to deck shoes, a fishing rod and lures.

My son wins the whole summer with catching 5 fish to my zero fish in one outing. I think he’ll be able to teach me a thing or 2 about catching fish.
The move from the lake to the city was a tough one. I miss staring out at the lake. Listening to the waves crashing onto the shore… The sounds of the locals singing and walking around the village was more my pace and I fell in love with everything there. Now, it’s time to find my place in the city.Â

On to new adventures and memories with my growing family.
More posts of my busy life will be up soon!

Until next time, stay safe!
