As a foodie, I am always looking to try different food and restaurants.  While out doing errands with my friend, she remembered seeing a new sushi restaurant close to our destination… the mall.   😉

Above was our view from our beautiful round booth, we adored the decor from the chic colours to the classy chandeliers.  Our server brought us their all-you-can-eat lunch menu/order sheet which made ordering easy and fast.  We ordered some familiar things off their menu as well as some sushi rolls we were familiar with.  We were more than impressed with what we received.

For me, presentation is always key and they did not disappoint.  I would have to say, the highlight of my meal was the Bacon wrapped asparagus.  It looked fairly simply, but WOW!  The flavour was outstanding, the bacon had a smokey taste and with a touch of red balsamic vinegar… I was completely blown away!

The staff was courteous and professional and the food was nothing short of gourmet!  In speaking with one of the owners, I had a chance to get a feel for the care and forward thinking he had shared with his brother and where they saw their restaurant going.  They took great strides to listen to their customer dynamic and how to keep them coming back for more.  The restaurant is both adult and family friendly.

Now, typically my friend and I love to document our excursions via selfies and such, it was nice to know that the staff did not make us feel uncomfortable and seemed to be proud of their establishment.  That’s an extra bonus for me!

Overall, I believe I have finally found my go-to spot for affordable gourmet quality food.  I was encouraged to come back for their dinner menu which I definitely will!
