It’s been an action packed few days getting some work done. Today, I made some home made lasagna and ramen noodles and some homemade butter tarts. It’s been a challenge but I’m determined to get my own butter tart recipe perfected. It’s the first few days of Spring everyone’s getting more antsy with the warm weather but it’s still too soon. I still have the children and myself inside our reasonably sterile air. I’ve slowly been preparing myself for the next transfusion only this time I have a couple of amazing fellow MS friends that I’m looking forward to seeing in person. I’m not sure what the protocols will be for the next infusion but we all can’t wait to get “juiced up”.
I did an impromptu radio segment with my friend and it was so much fun. I love doing live radio show with the most primal equipment. I had a lapel mic, my iPhone and my computer software. We will be doing more episodes and I will be finishing up some editing so I can upload some great stuff I’ve been doing to pass the quarantine time away. It can’t all be doom and gloom, sometimes things have to be destroyed before something better can be built. I feel that truth every time I’ve opened my eyes to a new day.
It’s the time to really invest in yourself, find what you’re good at and enjoy doing it. The world may be so uncertain right now but spending time learning and teaching my boys has been so much fun. They’ve been enjoying their online courses and we are learning how to make homemade foods. I can safely say that not only has it been fun but it has also saved us a lot in the grocery bill. I’m working on some pasta recipes, meal ideas and desserts that have been keeping my family busy.
I hope you are inspired and are creating some new activities and projects to keep you busy throughout the days.
I’ll share much more very soon!
Much love,
SS
