My first day of vacation was filled with site seeing and window shopping.  The weather was cloudy, however it helped counter the humidity and heat.  The bonus about staying at The Garfield is that everything is within walking distance.  Arriving at Fountain Square was really exciting, seeing the performance stage and admiring the beautiful fountain.. it was breathtaking.

I finished the day with a highly recommended local treat that I was at first hesitant about… but DAMN… these were some good coneys and I was told I couldn’t have coneys without Grippo’s… Yes!  So far this was my favourite meal!

I can’t wait to get Day 2 started! 🙂
